What and Who is a Moose Legionnaire

Moose Legionnaires seperate the men from the Boys!

A proud Moose Legionnaire goes the extra mile to aid the children at Mooseheart and our Seniors at Moosehaven.

He is proud to volunteer his time and donates toward his Lodge and Community Service projects.

He is proud to sign up his friends and family as new members.

He is proud to work and attend functions for the Lodge, Moose Legion and Higher Degree.

He is the proud Moose Legionnaire that you see at District, State and International Meetings.

He is a proud Fraternalist, abides by the ritual, and has gained much wisdom through age.

He is proud to become a Lodge Chairman or Officer and aspires toward personal goal of becoming a Fellow and then Pilgrim.

When he reaches all these goals, you will still see that proud Moose Legionnaire volunteering at all levels.

The Moose Legion is now part of the Higher Degrees and has to be earned by a member. Here are the requirements.

A member must be a good standing Lodge Member.
Must have completed 1 year of Lodge Membership.
Must have sponsored 1 Lodge application that has been accepted through LCL.NET.
OR
Must be a good standing Lodge Member.
Must have completed 6 months of Lodge Membership.
Must have sponsored 3 Lodge Applications that have been

Our Annual Fund Raiser will be mailed shortly check your mail boxes

Again this summer we have a Mooseheart project to do and we were ask to help.

So, we will be sending you 2 tickets for a Nascar Jacket raffle and asking you to buy those tickets for $1.00 each to help defray the cost.

The project is a handycap ramp for the New York House at Mooseheart to the cost of $11,000.00.

Please help us meet our goal.

I want to welcome our newest Member Tom Warrington from the Oswego Moose Lodge. I Know Tom will be an asset to our Moose Legion. Again welcome.

A list of our Celebration is included in this newsletter, I hope we can see more Members attending.
The board of Officers travel’s all over to make these event possible and It’s very discouraging when no-one attends.
So please try to attend and support these events and your board of Officers.
